The skiing was sticky yesterday before it warmed up to mid 40s.
The writing is going smoothly. Our hero's grandmother and mother have bled to death. Not that it's a good thing, or a smooth thing. It's background information for the development of the character, the morose drunk.
Not too many carved or gliding turns. Instead there were step turns.
The car managed to free itself from the mud and is now parked on higher ground.

ReplyDeleteI seem to recall that Rocky Mountain skiers choose the term sticky, but that a certain East of the Mississippi flatlander dandy kept saying grabby...
