After five days of rain the water rose at least a foot and now stands ready to overcome the stones.
Jim added to the lake, then he minced across the waters to bail the boats.

Too bad you are on the wrong side of the divide. We get 9" of precip a year and are 3" below average. Dust bowl days. Dry, cracked nose days. Time to head for the moist mountains.
