Lunch time early in the day
It was too hot and the load was too heavy.
Mission aborted.

Still the cascades were beautiful and cool on the dogs.

The four things that would be difficult to live without having on a hike include:

1. Firestarter for food, comfort and warmth.

2. Gatorade for electrolyte replacement.

3. Molefoam for the blisters and bunions.
4. Ziplock bags to carry it all.
