Stuff multiplies.
Put in a flat surface like a desk and it'll soon be covered with stuff.
Same with the dining table,
and the office table.
Space is compressed by stuff. Time compresses.
And the only clean expansive surface in this house is the stove, just waiting for stuffing. Ebb and flow.
