Crazy As

With ice-out the loons magically reappear on the water. They winter on the ocean, but a day or so after the ice goes out, here they are right next to the dock.

This one gave us a swimming exhibition.

Its strong suit was the backstroke.

My looming shape holding a camera in the window made the loon turn upright and swim away.
