Rabbit Rabbit

There is nothing so rare as a day in June.

Whether up close and personal like this Chippie at the lakeside, already foraging seeds for her family, or
distant views of the Songo Locks that can fit at least 3 boats at a time to ease the transport from the Songo River to the Brandy Pond outlet,
may your June be spectacularly beautiful.

  1. Chipmunk! Chipmunk!
-The full moon in June is the Honey Moon.
-Cute little chippie dredges up another childhood trauma memory.
Using a metal bread box, rigged with a prop stick and rope, and baited with bread crumbs, our intrepid father trapped two Wyoming Rocky Mountain chipmunks. In descending from the Snowy Range to the high plains, poor Chip and Dale succumbed to the altitude change and ended their happy little rodent lives upside down and dead.
And that leads to a memory of a girl whose breasts reminded her of two bags of dead chipmunks. Why she would conjure this and then share this is a mystery, but the image remains long after.
    Thanks for the memories (mammarys).
